ARCO Donates $20,000 to Gene Slay’s Boys’ Club of St. Louis

ARCO Principal Hank Bellina presented a $20,000 check on behalf of ARCO Construction Company to Gene Slay’s Boys’ Club of St. Louis, which the organization said will go towards funding repairs for their swimming pool.

Gene Slay’s Boys’ Club is a St. Louis-based nonprofit that offers after school and summer programs, serving mainly at-risk, marginalized and underserved youth in the metro area. The programs, which range from athletics to academics to arts to aquatics, aim to equip participants with valuable skills that will benefit them throughout the rest of their academic life and future career.

According to the company’s website, 598 youth have participated the Club’s targeted programming.

Bellina was appointed to the charity’s Board of Directors in 2015, and was proud to deliver ARCO’s donation on behalf of the company. “We are proud to be able to support Gene Slay’s Boy’s Club and the community in this way,” he said. “This organization does so much for kids in St. Louis, and makes such a positive impact.” For more information about Gene Slay’s Boys’ Club, visit www.gsgbcstl.org.

Like Bellina, many ARCO associates are actively serving a number of causes and organizations. The company strives to make an impact in the community by supporting the causes that are near and dear to the hearts of its associates.
