ARCO Construction has broken ground on VIA, a transformative mixed-use development in downtown Springdale. The project, developed by Bentonville-based Blue Crane and designed by BUF Studio and modus studio, will bring more than 150 residential units and 11,600 square feet of retail space to the downtown core.

The groundbreaking ceremony brought together community leaders including Springdale Mayor Doug Sprouse, Downtown Springdale Alliance Executive Director Paxton Roberts and Blue Crane Development Partner Farris DeBoard.
“VIA will create new opportunities for local businesses and residents alike,” DeBoard said. “We selected ARCO Construction for their track record of excellence and their understanding of how transformative projects like this can enhance community life.”
The development encompasses four multistory buildings on a 2.5-acre site, totaling about 160,000 square feet. The project includes 111,000 square feet of residential space, 36,000 square feet of community space and 11,600 square feet of retail space.
“Downtown Springdale continues to evolve as a vibrant destination for residents and businesses,” said Roberts, of the Downtown Springdale Alliance. “VIA adds significant momentum to our revitalization efforts.”
Construction is now underway, with completion expected in late 2026. The project will welcome its first residents and retailers in phases throughout the year. Stay tuned for more updates as VIA takes shape!
